The Hawaiian Islands
Hawaii, in the Pacific Ocean, is actually made up of many islands stretching east to west. Born from volcanic eruptions and moulded by the wind and sea, each varies in age and size and, despite their proximity, each has it's own distinct character.
Most flights into Hawaii land in Honolulu on the island of Oahu. You can choose to spend all your time on this island, but even if you plan on visiting some of the outer islands it is well worth spending a few days in Honolulu. The four main holiday islands are Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii's Big Island.
